Fold Toggle – Privacy Policy

Fold Toggle is an open-source Android app that switches a foldable phone between its inner and outer screens. This policy explains what the app does with your information.

Summary: the app collects nothing

• Fold Toggle does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal or device data.
• It has no internet permission, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs.
• It creates no accounts and stores no files.

Permissions

• Notifications / foreground service — shows the persistent "switch screen" notification and keeps your chosen screen mode active.
• Run at startup — restores that notification after a reboot or app update.

Device reports (optional, user-initiated)

The app shows device information (manufacturer, model, Android version, and the phone's supported display modes) on screen. If you tap Copy device info or Report this device on GitHub, that text is copied to your clipboard or opened in your browser as a pre-filled GitHub issue. Nothing is sent unless you choose to submit that issue yourself, in which case it becomes public on GitHub under GitHub's privacy policy. The report contains no personal information.

Children

The app is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.

Any changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
